【摘要】:WARNING—ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtoensurecompliancewithanynationalregulatoryconditions.IMPORTANT—ItisabsolutelyessentialthattestsconductedaccordingtothisInternationalStandardbecarriedoutbysuitablytrainedstaff.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheconditionsforthedeterminationoftritiumactivityconcentrationinsamplesofenvironmentalwateroroftritiatedwater([3H]H2O)usingliquidscintillationcounting.Thechoiceoftheanalyticalprocedure,eitherwithorwithoutdistillationofthewatersamplepriortodetermination,dependsontheaimofthemeasurementandthesamplecharacteristics(seeReferences).Directmeasurementofarawwatersampleusingliquidscintillationcountinghastoconsiderthepotentialpresenceofotherbetaemitterradionuclides.Toavoidinterferencewiththeseradionuclideswhentheyaredetected,thequantificationoftritiumwillbeperformedfollowingthesampletreatmentbydistillation(seeReferences).ThreedistillationproceduresaredescribedinAnnexesB,DandE.Themethodisnotapplicabletotheanalysisoforganicallyboundtritium;itsdeterminationrequiresadditionalchemicalprocessing(suchaschemicaloxidationorcombustion).Withsuitabletechnicalconditions,thedetectionlimitmaybeaslowas1Bql?1.Tritiumactivityconcentrationsbelow106Bql?1canbedeterminedwithoutanysampledilution.Apriorenrichmentstepcansignificantlylowerthelimitofdetection(seeReferences).

【摘要】:Thisguidehelpsthosestudyingoxygensystemincidentstoselectadirectcausehypothesisandtoavoidconclusionsbasedonhypotheses,howeverplausible,thathaveprovenfaultyinthepast.1.1Thisguidecoversproceduresandmaterialsforexaminingfiresinoxygensystemsforthepurposesofidentifyingpotentialcausesandpreventingrecurrence.1.2Thisguideisnotcomprehensiveandisnotintendedforforensicuse.Theanalysisofoxygenfireincidentsisnotascience,anddefinitivecauseshavenotbeenestablishedforsomeevents.1.3Theproceduresandanalysesinthisguidehavebeenfoundusefulforinterpretingfireevents,forhelpingidentifypotentialcauses,andforexcludingotherpotentialcauses.Theinclusionoromissionofanyanalyticalstrategyisnotintendedtosuggesteitherapplicabilityorinapplicabilityofthatmethodinanyactualincidentstudy.Indeed,somematerialinthisguideisconsidereduseful,andthereforeworthyofinclusionandconsiderationinastudy,butnotnecessarilyofdemonstratedvalidity.Note18212;Althoughthisguidehasbeenfoundapplicableforassistingqualifiedtechnicalpersonneltoanalyzeincidents,eachincidentisuniqueandmustbeapproachedasauniqueevent.Therefore,theselectionofspecifictacticsandthesequenceofapplicationofthosetacticsmustbeconsciousdecisionsofthosestudyingtheevent.Note28212;Theincidentmayrequiretheformationofateamtoprovidethenecessaryexpertiseandexperiencetoconductthestudy.Thepersonnelanalyzinganincident,oratleastonememberoftheteam,shouldknowtheprocessunderstudyandtheequipmentinstallation.1.4Warning8212;Duringcombustion,gases,vapors,aerosols,fumes,orcombinationthereof,areevolved,whichmaybepresentandmaybehazardoustopeople.Caution-Adequateprecautionsshouldbetakentoprotectthoseconductingastudy.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
