【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesamethodfordeterminingtheinhibitionofthegrowthandreproductivecapabilityofhigherplantsbysoilsundercontrolledconditions.Twospeciesarerecommended:arapidcyclingvariantofturniprape(BrassicarapaCrGCsyn.Rbr)andoat(Avenasativa).Thedurationoftestshouldbesufficienttoincludechronicendpointsthatdemonstratethereproductivecapabilityofthetestplants.Byusingnaturaltestsoils,e.g.fromcontaminatedsitesorremediatedsoils,andbycomparingthedevelopmentofthetestplantsinthesesoilswithreferenceorstandardcontrolsoils,thetestcanbeusedtoassesssoilquality,especiallythefunctionofthesoilasanhabitatforplants.
